To avoid tarnishing, clean your silver-plated jewellery with silver polishing cloths. Do not allow perfume, hairspray, body lotions, detergents, harsh chemicals, washing up liquid and so on come into contact with your jewellery. Silver plated jewellery will eventually wear in due time. Proper cleaning, maintenance, and storage are critical for extending its life usage. Reducing the amount of polish used as over exposure can inadvertently remove the silver plating.
